Goong-ee doong-ee, meaning ‘people closely related to the palace.’ It is the nickname for the volunteers who lead the festival by communicating with its visitors at the palace.

If you see them walking around the palace dressed in sky blue colored costume, that is a uniform of Dohwaseo(a department for the court painters in Joseon), please wave to them gladly.
